Meet Craig Dixon, Founder and Owner
Craig Dixon established Dixon Construction in 1992 after gaining a decade of invaluable construction industry experience. His vision was clear: work directly with customers, ensure only quality work leaves our hands, and guarantee that homeowners never wonder about the status or progress of their project.

“Craig and Brian came over to our two-story townhouse, removed and replaced four rotted 2X6 floor joists and one 4X10X10 foot beam on our balcony deck. They made it look easy, but it is not easy. Craig has been doing construction for over 30 years, and a tough job like this is made easy by someone with good experience and problem-solving skills.
Craig looked over the deck, gave us a fair bid, showed up to work early, finished early, swept away the saw dust answered all of our questions, and listened to our requests and comments. On the two occasions when he was delayed for a short time because of long lines at the lumber yard where he was getting materials for the day’s work (an hour once and 40 minutes once), he called before his scheduled arrival and let us know the new time (and he was here promptly at the new time). The deck repair that he did was rather complicated due to the fact that it is built over a hillside, with parts of it 40 feet off the ground, presenting problems in getting to some of the damaged under structure. Also, more termite and dry rot damage was exposed as the work on hard to access areas progressed. In every case, before proceeding, he explained the alternative options, giving each advantage and disadvantage and estimated cost. “For most of the summer we have had Craig Dixon, of Dixon Construction, doing improvement projects for our older home in Santa Clara. We had structural problems that caused roof leeks for as long as I have lived here. Dixon Construction corrected the structural problem as well as repairing the roof that was the defective work of a previous contractor. Additionally, we had doors relocated, windows relocated, stucco and sheet rock work.
In all cases the work was excellent, done in a professorial and timely manner. When the work is complete the work site was left as clean as it was when they started.
