We take pride in delivering professional service and expert craftsmanship to all of our customers. Read what some of our satisfied clients have said about us.
“Dixon Construction just completed construction on our fire rebuild. The quality of their workmanship is impeccable and the attention to detail is amazing. Craig is honest and easy to work with. Really made the entire process of building a house so much easier with his experience and problem-solving skills. Highest recommendation! We are so pleased with our new home!”

“My master bedroom and bathroom sustained major water damage around Christmas. The bathroom tile, walls, and carpeting had to be replaced. The quality of work was superior but over and above that, I was able to undergo medical treatment while making choices for repair, etc. with ease due to the consideration of Craig. First class local team.”
– Karen M
“Craig and his crew were recommended by a neighbor whose extended family have used Dixon Construction for numerous jobs – big projects – so I was fairly confident that we’d enjoy a good experience in remodeling our bathroom. But the team’s level of workmanship went above and beyond our expectations. Always calm, kind and considerate, Craig and Brian and the rest of their team ensured we were happy with every step of construction. They were able to transform the ugliest 80’s-era bathroom into a beautiful spa-like retreat. I can’t thank them enough!”
– Lizzie S
“Craig and his crew exceeded our expectations at every turn. We had a complete gut of a master bathroom. Every decision was discussed with us, there were no unexpected costs added on. Our bathroom was everything we wanted it to be. They were exceedingly helpful with decision making, and when I doubted my own decisions they laid out exactly what my decisions would look like”
– Mellissa G
“Craig and his crew did a wonderful job on our outdoor kitchen. They were able to design, construct and seamlessly blend the structure with the style and function of our home. We’ve had Craig do a variety of projects over the years and he is our “go-to” man. Not only can he build but he gets creative when needed which is a talent we enjoy seeing coming to fruition. Honest, reliable and really the best contractor in our opinion.”
– No N
“Craig and his team are great to work with! They are prompt, responsive, professional and deliver what they promised! I am very happy with their work and communication. This was not a very big job – replacing stairs off my deck and one of the the boards on the deck – but I can see that the quality of work was very good! Thank you Craig and Team!!!”
– Lillian M
“I had Dixon Construction replace a number of doors in my house. They were great to work with, and did a top-notch job. From the emailed quote to accommodating our schedule to promptly fixing all my minor issues after the job was done, Craig and his crew were a pleasure to work with.”
– Steffan V
“Dixon Construction did an AMAZING job on our outdoor sink project. It looks like something out of Sunset magazine. Just beautiful. And so well-crafted. We love it! The entire Dixon Construction team are incredible builders, artists, and visionaries. We recommend them unconditionally.”
– Judy P
“Craig built a home in the Aptos Hills area and overcame significant issues due to hillside challenges. His strong ties with the SC Planning Inspectors and his adaptability to manage unique structural requirements enabled us to complete a safe and beautiful home.”
– Albert D
“Craig and Brian came over to our two-story townhouse, removed and replaced four rotted 2X6 floor joists and one 4X10X10 foot beam on our balcony deck. They made it look easy, but it is not easy. Craig has been doing construction for over 30 years, and a tough job like this is made easy by someone with good experience and problem-solving skills.
Craig looked over the deck, gave us a fair bid, showed up to work early, finished early, swept away the saw dust answered all of our questions, and listened to our requests and comments. He is easy to work with. I have done a lot of my own home projects over the years like some framing, roofing, sheetrock, baseboards, crown molding, wallpaper and window and door replacement, so when I recommend Craig and Brian, it is from someone who knows when work is done right. So if you want some new construction or a deck repair done, give Craig Dixon a call.”
“Amazing work, completed quickly. I’ll always turn to Craig first for help. Top notch!”
– Brad M
“We were delighted with the work of Dixon Contraction (Craig Dixon) in repairing termite and dry rot damage to our deck. First of all, he showed up at the time that he said that he would. On the two occasions when he was delayed for a short time because of long lines at the lumber yard where he was getting materials for the day’s work (an hour once and 40 minutes once), he called before his scheduled arrival and let us know the new time (and he was here promptly at the new time). The deck repair that he did was rather complicated due to the fact that it is built over a hillside, with parts of it 40 feet off the ground, presenting problems in getting to some of the damaged under structure. Also, more termite and dry rot damage was exposed as the work on hard to access areas progressed. In every case, before proceeding, he explained the alternative options, giving each advantage and disadvantage and estimated cost. He gladly listened to suggestions from us, and offered excellent [service].”

“We have hired Craig Dixon for two major projects: 1. Transforming a basement from a hole with dirt floors and partial walls into a comfortable office and bathroom 2. Completely redoing another bathroom, including walls, ceiling, floors, and all fixtures. On both projects, Craig was outstanding. He shows up when he says he will.”

“Dixon Construction did an amazing renovation/remodel for my office and bathroom. Craig and his crew were very responsible and reliable, always on time and sticking to the plan. They worked around my work schedule and were able to accommodate my requests with professionalism and consistency. I’m very happy and trusting of any job or project. I would highly recommend Dixon and be happy to talk with anyone directly re their work.”

“For most of the summer we have had Craig Dixon, of Dixon Construction, doing improvement projects for our older home in Santa Clara. We had structural problems that caused roof leeks for as long as I have lived here. Dixon Construction corrected the structural problem as well as repairing the roof that was the defective work of a previous contractor. Additionally, we had doors relocated, windows relocated, stucco and sheet rock work.
In all cases the work was excellent, done in a professorial and timely manner. When the work is complete the work site was left as clean as it was when they started.
I would recommend Dixon Construction to anyone in need in of home improvement without equivocation. Craig is knowledgeable and skilled and will make every effort to give you the vision you have for your home.”
